All prices shown are in Canadian Dollars


We strive for accuracy however in the event that an item is ordered which is mistakenly priced or otherwise incorrect we reserve the right to refuse or cancel such order, whether or not the order has been confirmed or payment has already been made.  If your order is cancelled and your card has been charged or you have otherwise made payment a credit will be issued in the amount of the payment made.  


Returns are accepted on raw ungraded coins or banknotes within 7 days of receipt by customer provided that they have not been removed from original packaging or holders in which they were shipped. Restocking fees of 10% will apply on any items where a similar substitute product is not supplied.

Returns will be accepted on any item that is obviously incorrect and not the item the customer ordered, eg. A 1965 coin shipped when customer ordered a coin dated 1945.

Returns for exchange only MAY be offered on items damaged during transit if such damage is a result of our packaging not being sufficient to protect the item from normal handling abuse. Damaged items will be replaced where possible with “like” items.

TorontoCoins will credit customer for return shipping charges for items shipped in error or damaged in transit.

Returns will NOT be accepted on 3rd party graded coins or banknotes or any items that are clearly noted as having some impairments.

Items purchased “On Sale” are not returnable for any reason except in the instance of being incorrect or damaged in transit.  Please note product description will indicate any flaws or impairments that will disqualify a product from being returnable.

Returns will NOT be accepted on any item where payment is made in cash and the customer has had the opportunity to decline completing the transaction.

Credit on returns will be applied using same method as original payment.

Customer MUST contact us prior to returning any item to receive a control number which must be included with item at time of return to ensure we know the reason for the return as well as who to credit.


Prior to arrival at our location, TorontoCoins is not responsible for any product being returned that is damaged or lost in transit. You are responsible to ensure the item is packed securely with sufficient padding for the return trip.


Payment for any item purchased is expected at the time the order is placed with the exception of items that payment will be made by cheque or cash at time of pickup.

We accept E-transfer, personal cheques and cash.
Shipping will be delayed for all payments by cheque until cleared by our bank 

We currently do NOT accept credit cards.

Customers can pay by E-transfer through their banking institution. Simply log-in to your online banking and use the email “torontocoins@bell.net” to send your payment to.  If required to use a password please use “Olivia” or should you choose a custom password please let us know what it is.

Personal cheques will be accepted however this will result in delayed shipping until cleared payment through our bank which is typically a 7 to 10 day period.

Cash Payments:

We sell online as well as at coin shows, we do not have a brick and mortar store. Customers wishing to pay in cash must contact us to complete their order and make arrangements to meet at a coin show or other location to complete the transaction.

Cash payments must be made within 7 days of ordering.  Any orders not picked up within the 7 day period will be returned to stock and the order will be cancelled.


Destinations in Canada:

Taxes (HST/GST) will apply to all orders delivered in Canada at the following rates for each province: AB: 5%, BC 5%, MB 5%, NB 13%, NL 15%, NT 5%, NS 15%, NU 5%, ON 13%, PEI 14%, QC 5%, SK 5% and YT 5%.

Destinations outside of Canada:

TorontoCoins.com does not charge tax at the time of sale on orders where the shipping destination is the USA however duties, taxes or other fees may be applicable at the time of importation into the USA.  All importation fees associated with items shipped to USA destinations will be the customers responsibility and will not be paid or refunded by TorontoCoins.

Precious Metals:

Precious metals is defined as bars, ingots, wafers or coins with a purity of 99.9%+ Fine Silver or 99.5%+ Gold or Platinum. Precious metals products are exempt from HST/GST in Canada. In accordance with Canadian law only the product portion of your order is tax exempt and taxes must be charged on the shipping fees.

Shipping fees to destinations in Canada:

Minimum Shipping fee is $22.00 + TAX which includes tracking and insurance up to $1,000 for Canadian destinations or $400 for USA destinations.

We reserve the right to choose which carrier will be used for shipping.

Large or heavy packages over 1.5kg may be assessed additional shipping fees.

Shipping fees to destinations in the USA are charged a flat rate of $22.00 + TAX
